windows
to the
soul

Our eyes quietly reveal our innermost truths—emotions, thoughts, and the essence of who we are.
Similarly, windows offer framed glimpses into and out of the worlds we inhabit. To look out is to reflect,
to dream, and to witness life from a distance. To look in is to encounter intimacy, untold stories, and the
quiet pulse of another’s reality. These shifting perspectives remind us that meaning is shaped not just by
what we see, but by where—and how—we choose to see.

With this in mind, Windows to the Soul invites artists to contribute works that reflect the human experience, using the symbolism of eyes and windows as powerful metaphors for connection, vulnerability, and insight. Each piece offers a perspective—whether outward-looking or introspective—that speaks to our shared longing for truth, empathy, and understanding.

This exhibition marks the fourth fundraising initiative of the Visual Arts Helping Hands Foundation Inc., which has been providing supplemental financial assistance for medical needs and emergencies within the visual arts community since 2017. More than an artistic gathering, the exhibit carries a heartfelt mission: to uplift those who have dedicated their lives to creativity. By taking part, we do more than create or appreciate art—we extend compassion, stand in solidarity, and embody the spirit of artists helping others.
